mY personal journey with intimacy has been multifaceted:

growing up in a purity culture where sex before marriage was viewed as a sin
Surviving sexual assault as a child
being in a relationship where sex was not only few and far between but painful and Controlled
not knowing what was “normal” and feeling like I needed to settle for mismatched libidos and “turning it off"
having no where to turn to have the conversations I craved to understand intimacy challenges & how to make improvements
becoming a mom and thinking my vagina was stretched and pleasure was out the door
going through a divorce and believing no one would want to have sex with me
tHINKING sex would/should be subpar after a certain age
Not knowing how to initiate new sexual experiences after being in a long-term relationship

everything changed for ME when a friend genuinely asked ME about MY sexual health and wellness. Someone was taking the time to have these conversations with ME that I craved so much & Did not know where to turn.

It was the permission I needed
